How we rate courses
Every course gets a score out of 10 from five parts. The star rating is that score halved, to one decimal place. It is our editorial rating of how useful and accessible a course is for Australian workers, not a measure of what you will learn from it.

What else you should know
Learner ratings published by providers are shown with their source and date, but they are never part of our score.
Regions are filters, not part of the rating. A course open only in one state is rated the same way as a course open worldwide.
Links and prices are checked monthly and shown as at the check date on each course page. The most recent check was on 2026-09-29.
Courses are never rated higher for payment, and no provider pays us.
Relevance is a judgement made by our editors. It is disclosed on every course page so you can weigh it yourself.
